About 2.2 billion people in the world are considered Christians according to the 2010 demographic studies. (See Pew Study) What this means to each of those 2.2 billion varies depending many variables such as where one lives, how much one has access to theological study, how important tradition plays in one's family or church environment. Many debates, and unfortunately wars as well, have been fought over the nuances of being a Christian, over what it means to be an authentic Christian.
I want to approach it from a different perspective. Instead of examining the definition of the parameters of Christian belief, I wonder aloud how those beliefs affect the way people live. What should an authentic Christian do? How does someone live out Authentic Christianity.
